ok so this is not the best time in my life.. but yeah… this is how it seems to be going right now…
have had male friends all my life.. and have had more male friends than female friends all my life.. and i firmly believe(d) in platonic relationships.. they last.. and they are deep and meaningful… and no, we dont feel the need to turn them into romantic relationships… lately, many around me have expressed the inability to understand friendship between opposite genders… was not surprised as many who expressed the inability had themselves never been friends with anyone of the opposite sex… nevertheless, a lot of what they have been saying comes back to me today.. when two good friends in the same day, turn tables on me and try and in their words, “change the level of our friendship”.. and on top of it, they turn around on me and expect me not to freak out since “we are such good friends”.. it is sooooooooooo irritating…
