About the Book:
The book is a collection of short stories. Archer opens it with his favourite middle eastern short story about a man trying to escape death. The fifteen other short stories have been written by Archer, some of them inspired from his real life incidents.
The stories are full of twists and turns, but somehow are not as gripping as his books generally are. ‘A change of heart’, ‘Something for Nothing’ and ‘The Grass is always Greener’ also touch upon social issues, although I am not sure if it is a deliberate effort or am I just reading too much into his stories.
My favourite stories in the book are ‘Too Many Coincides’ and “The Expert Witness’. These were the only two stories that I could not put down.
