last thursday was crazy… in the morning, i had no clue how i was going to survive it… i started from my place at about 9 in the morning.. for some strange reason, i got a parking space easily. which i think was the first sign that it was going to be a crazy day… then i took the metro, to a place 20 kms away to meet a lady who is made of the same stuff that needs to be a part of the “office office” series on television.. i had gone with a colleague who is otherwise quite calm and polite. she was also forced to say that this lady must have had some problems in life at home coz there does not seem to be any other explaination for her irrational arrogance and rudeness… well, we left without getting much work done to a short distance away, to a university department where again we could barely do our work… we managed to go to our college about 12 kms from the university and over 30 kms from my home.. since we were late, we could not take classes.. after participating in the preparations for the next day’s function, i left in half an hour from college with another colleague to reach back home… another 30 kms, 2 metros, a car ride later, we had ten minutes at home to get ready to leave again… a taxi was waiting and we left for a delhi univ college near ito, which is another 15 kms… and from there, along with some foreign delegates, we went to lotus temple which was about 20 kms further… attended a conference and then dropped the colleagues back at cp and then came home… and then dropped dead on the bed… phewwwwwwww
