Fitzgerald’s work is a brief description of the life of a man who is reverse aging. Born as a seventy year old, he lives his life in reverse. The struggles with family, education, and society at large have been presented. A full novel would have been welcome, but the story is apt at capturing your imagination. It presents a picture of a world unbelievable. It starts with a fantasy but it touches many social realities, particularly the short lived memory of people around us, the ability of society to generate, believe and disbelieve rumours at will.A fascinating read.
Every book has a story
I borrowed this book from a friend, read it quickly. I had not seen the movie, which is a good thing because then I wouldn’t have known the magic of Fitzgerald.
