About the Book:
The book is about a young boy in his teens who commits suicide. The narrative revolves around the work of a compassionate inspector in solving the case. The story unfolds several dramatic events which are largely predictable. It is like bringing all the problems of the youth and ensuring that the young boy faced all of them. Nothing could ever have been right in his life. If the purpose of the book was to highlight the various stressors that young, school going boys and girls face today, a reasonably good job has been done. An ignorant adult may not have thought about so much happening in one person’s life. However, it fails to evoke emotions or make you feel any sense of compassion towards the characters in the story.
The quality of writing can best be described as an averagely written story from a high school fiction writing competition.
