The third book of the Twilight series holds no greater promise than the first. Maybe the books should be read as far apart as they were first published. The plot remains the same, everything that can go wrong, will go wrong around Bella Swan; everything Edward and Jacob can do make things right, they will do; and the rest of the people/Vampires/werewolves would toe the line and do everything possible to keep Bella alive.
If you have managed to read the first two, you won’t be able to resist reading this one. And I am sure, you will pick up the fourth. Meyer deserves all the praise for writing a gripping tale. If you are like me, you would hate yourself for picking it up and wonder a little bit about your sanity in reading something that holds little value. I am wondering if I am missing some symbolism here.
It has all the masala for a bollywood movie. There is romance, drama, action and breathtakingly beautiful sets. It lacks maturity, but when has that stopped bollywood… I am wondering why it hasn’t been discovered by Indian movie directors/ producers… Now, who would be good lead actors?
Every book has a story
After reading the first two, I was almost sure I needed a break from vampires lest I start blurring the boundaries between myth and reality. It is kind of surreal. Nevertheless, work schedules prevent me from picking up anything that is sane and I have continued with the third. Now I am wondering if I should read the fourth now or not!
